RAT ICE is the only approved usage of dry ice for rodents in the U.S. Rat Ice (carbon dioxide) pellets are placed into outdoor rat burrows only. Rat Ice is currently available in limited markets including: Boston, New York, Philadelphia, Baltimore, Connecticut and Chicago. Obtaining Rat Ice requires the purchase of the 20-lb label from us and collecting the pellets in a suitable cooler at the authorized dealer.
